Shannon Chilion's mother is dead and her father might as well be. Her boyfriend cheated on her with someone she thought was a friend, and as if she needed to make life any harder on herself at seventeen, she can now add drug addiction to the list of obstacles she faces. Shannon has been blessed with a guardian angel, or rather a Watcher, who acts as a sort of conscience, attempting to protect her from demons that tempt her. Although the angel tries, it is not an easy job because Shannon can't hear or see the Watcher, and is slowly losing the battle, straying further and further from the path God has laid out for her. As hope fades, will Hell's army win Shannon or will the Watcher be able to guide her away from everything that drags her away from God? Dive into a broken world and find new hope. Although the world and Shannon's circumstances seem bleak and impossible, the power of the Watcher just might be enough to overcome.
